Klub Kakofanney is Oxford's longest-running independent music promoter, founded in 1991 by Phil Freizinger and Sue Smith and run entirely by volunteers. On the first Friday of each month (except August), a lineup of around four acts plays original music spanning a wide range of genres at Florence Park Community Centre. Entry is pay-on-the-door and a loyalty stamp card rewards regular attendees, a characterful and welcoming fixture of Oxford's grassroots scene for over three decades.
