The sound is wiry lo-fi electronic beats and jagged post-punk riffs under gritty spoken-word rants about everyday life in a fractured system. The title came from a line scrawled on a gas bill envelope during a pub night.

A brighton trio whose debut ep, sitting with the fish, arrived on local label rose hill records in january 2026. Their sound runs on motorik drums and long kosmische grooves, with cornet, clarinet and synth drifting over the top. It was engineered and mixed by julian tardo at church road in hove.
