stampbot says…

stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.

It does its best, but it can get things wrong. If it has, tell us and we’ll fix it.

A theatre and music show combining narration and original songs to tell the story of oxford songwriter phil freisinger as a second-generation holocaust survivor, following his family's flight from nazi vienna via the kindertransport. The show has sold out three oxford performances and played the edinburgh fringe festival in august 2024, with further german-language performances in cologne as part of the city's 80th-anniversary holocaust remembrance events in january 2025. The july 2026 evening at florence park includes the one-hour play followed by a live music celebration with local acts.

Patrick Crow

Patrick Crow

band · acoustic · alt-country · alternative folk · americana · singer-songwriter · oxfordshire, uk

An oxfordshire singer-songwriter whose music sits in acoustic folk and americana territory, built around candid, personal storytelling. His 2018 single 'stories from the past' — produced at milkman studios — gives a good sense of the warm, heartfelt writing at the core of his work.
