Since surfacing in 2025, Oxford indie outfit Mazawattee have gone straight for the throttle. Surging from local gigs to a debut Glastonbury slot and a sold-out EP launch at The Bullingdon last year, they’ve rapidly established themselves as one of the city’s most exciting new acts.
Blending 90s indie, alt-rock, and folk influences, their all-original sound pairs raw energy with rich dual harmonies. Backed by regular BBC 6 Music spins and a spot on BBC Introducing’s ‘Tracks of the Year’ with Waterslide, Mazawattee are set to drop their anticipated debut album in November 2026.
