Montréal's la sécurité are a bilingual art-punk five-piece whose music fuses jumpy polyrhythms, off-kilter chord changes, and minimalistic melodic hooks into something simultaneously danceable and confrontational. Their debut stay safe! (2023, mothland) landed on the polaris music prize long-list, and sophomore album bingo! — out june 2026 on bella union and mothland — pushes further into no wave, noise rock, and shoegaze territory.

A five-piece from southend-on-sea whose members bring experience from diy acts including wetdog, private trousers, and vic godard's subway sect. They play restless, eclectic post-punk with detours into folk, prog and pop — hard to pin down but firmly rooted in the uk diy tradition. Their debut album nervous energy came out in october 2017 on southend records.
