Montréal's la sécurité are a bilingual art-punk five-piece whose music fuses jumpy polyrhythms, off-kilter chord changes, and minimalistic melodic hooks into something simultaneously danceable and confrontational. Their debut stay safe! (2023, mothland) landed on the polaris music prize long-list, and sophomore album bingo!, out june 2026 on bella union and mothland, pushes further into no wave, noise rock, and shoegaze territory.
“spring-loaded post-punk”
“channeling art punk and new wave into something jittery, confrontational, and irresistibly kinetic”

A five-piece from southend-on-sea whose members bring experience from diy acts including wetdog, private trousers, and vic godard's subway sect. They play restless, eclectic post-punk with detours into folk, prog and pop, hard to pin down but firmly rooted in the uk diy tradition. Their debut album nervous energy came out in october 2017 on southend records.

A six-piece from south oxfordshire playing self-penned americana: roots rock with a country edge, haunting riffs and bitter-sweet vignettes about longing. Their album 'stare down the night' came out in january 2026, recorded locally at brownhouse studios across the back end of 2025.
