Montréal's la sécurité are a bilingual art-punk five-piece whose music fuses jumpy polyrhythms, off-kilter chord changes, and minimalistic melodic hooks into something simultaneously danceable and confrontational. Their debut stay safe! (2023, mothland) landed on the polaris music prize long-list, and sophomore album bingo! — out june 2026 on bella union and mothland — pushes further into no wave, noise rock, and shoegaze territory.
