A seattle soul-jazz fusion group weaving together funk, groove, alternative r&b, and nu-jazz. Formerly known as hoecakes, they released two eps in their 'burner' series in 2018 and describe their sound as 'sounds from the past / present / future'. A touring act visiting oxford, bringing a warm, genre-blending groove sensibility to florence park.

Described by nightshift as oxford's best folk band, they released their debut album the sky and us during lockdown and their single moon in june 2025, and played truck festival in 2026.
