An oakland power pop act whose self-titled ep was premiered by under the radar. The songs run on big ringing guitars, british invasion harmonies and hooks that land on the first listen, with lyrics about fraught relationships handled more with sympathy than spite. Debut album 'don't spoil the fun' came out in october 2025 on dandy boy records.

A bay area underground mainstay of many years' standing, invited on to kalx in berkeley to talk about and dj around his first solo record. The songs are taut, quirky power pop with soaring guitars, moving through bubblegum and slacker rock, and the lyrics reach for classical and biblical references as often as pop ones. Debut solo lp 'waxworld' arrived in october 2025 on dandy boy records.

A brighton band who put bright surf guitar against hazy dream pop and a wash of shoegaze. Their debut ep is out in september 2026 and gets a launch show at the folklore rooms, with the set built for the immersive end of that sound.
