It does its best, but it can get things wrong. If it has, tell us and we’ll fix it.
Machine Learning is Brighton EMOM's monthly night of electronic sounds of all types at the Brunswick in Hove, run by Lee Kew Moss (LEKEMO). Each edition puts on around eight confirmed local electronic acts plus two open-mic slots that anyone can take on the night, all played out under abstract visual projections. Entry is free, and the billing is deliberately broad: electronic sounds of all types, from an eclectic mix of local artists. If you make electronic music and want a slot, the organiser takes expressions of interest by email.

A brighton trio whose debut ep, sitting with the fish, arrived on local label rose hill records in january 2026. Their sound runs on motorik drums and long kosmische grooves, with cornet, clarinet and synth drifting over the top. It was engineered and mixed by julian tardo at church road in hove.
