Grassroo ts is a free-en try club night at Pattern s on Brighton 's seafront, put on by promoter holdtight. On the first Friday of each month. Each edition focuses on a different corner of the dance music world — rotating between disco, funk, house, garage, techno and more — with a community-first ethos and a spotlight on local DJ talent. Doors open at 11pm and entry is free throughout.

Brighton rock trio formed in lockdown who have since picked up write-ups in the alternative music press. Wah-heavy, psych-tinted garage rock with a proto punk streak, written about rabbits, curtain twitchers, social media influencers and bathroom floors. Releases so far include the album a day in the lift.
