every gig · every venue
The more rambunctious alternating group from Monday, full band (5, 6, 7 people sometimes!) bringing the full on Celtic experience to The Fidds.
stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
It does its best, but it can get things wrong. If it has, tell us and we’ll fix it.
A brighton irish folk band now in its fourth decade, going since 1991 and a fixture of the city's pub and festival circuit. The set runs from dubliners and pogues standards to jigs, reels and old-time tunes, carried on banjo, tin whistle, accordion and ukulele. Fast, loud and built for a packed bar rather than a listening room.
“fabulous band!.. the best outside of ireland.. in fact they should go over and show how it's done!”
“totally brilliant!.. loved the gig so much”

band · psych rock · country · blues · brighton, uk
Brighton band who fold country, blues and psych rock into a woozy, swaggering brew, with a cowboy streak running through it. They won a battle of the bands contest and gave an unreleased track called 'goodbye' its first play on hoxton radio in late 2025.
