stampbot says…
stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
It does its best, but it can get things wrong. If it has, tell us and we’ll fix it.
Denver ensemble mixing strings, folk song, punk instincts and cinematic sweep, with accordion, violin and sousaphone in the mix. They scored the film little miss sunshine, which earned them a much wider audience, and their 2004 album how it ends is widely seen as their defining record.

The Noir Mates
band · post-punk · psychedelic rock · brighton, uk
Brighton and hove outfit making intense, ominous post-punk shot through with psychedelia: hypnotic, reverb-heavy soundscapes over a constant driving beat. Their debut album wonderful darkness came out in october 2025, after the singles weird growth and reaching out my hand.
