Cabaret Lab is Brighton's free monthly open-mic variety cabaret night, held on the first Sunday of each month at the Caroline of Brunswick, with occasional specials on other dates. Launched in 2016, it welcomes performers at every level, comedians, singers, dancers, jugglers, burlesque artists and more, to try out new and experimental material in front of a friendly, supportive crowd. Free entry, with donations welcome.

Brighton-based bedroom freak folk singer-songwriter writing diary-like fragments about searching, longing and humour. The live from the living room ep was recorded on two microphones in a flat near seven dials and came out on cassette as the first magical majesty release.
