about this night
stampbot says…

stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.

It does its best, but it can get things wrong. If it has, tell us and we’ll fix it.

Brighton's longest-running jazz jam, held every Tuesday evening in The Brunswick's main venue in Hove. Guitarist Paul Richards has hosted the session since July 2010, leading a rotating house trio of guitar, bass and drums that opens the floor to players of any style and level. Swing, bebop, latin, funk, trad, and everything in between are all welcome, and the night traditionally closes with all musicians joining together for a collective blues.

Danger of Death

band · post-punk · brighton, uk

A brighton post-punk three-piece who put their politics up front: anti-fascist, anti-racist, anti-violence and pro-creative. They have played the city's grassroots rooms, including support at the hope & ruin, and turn up here on a four-band pipeline bill.
