stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
A sarod virtuoso and composer who sets his 19-stringed instrument against field recordings and the rhythms of the natural world. Winner of the aga khan music award, he has released albums including king of ghosts and anti hero.
