Sam’s Town

details on yellowarch.com →

Having formed in Sheffield just a year ago, Sam’s Town have wasted no time making a name for themselves. From iconic local venues such as The Washington and Sidney & Matilda to the legendary basement of Liverpool’s Jacaranda, the band quickly established themselves on the live circuit, in Sheffield and beyond. After a sold out show at Sidney & Matilda they were described as the Sheffield band most likely to expand beyond the grassroots scene, and follow in the footsteps of the now famous Sheffield bands that went before them. After a 5 month break from the stage with line-up changes, song-writing and time in the studio, Sam’s Town are back. Eager to showcase what they’ve been working on, you don’t want to miss Sam’s Town live from Yellow Arch on Friday 27th November.

Good Habits

band · indie-folk · folk · sheffield

Good habits make joyous, genre-fusing indie-folk built on cello, accordion and vocal harmony, with a knack for vivid storytelling. They spent the pandemic touring new zealand, went on to play festivals including glastonbury and womad, and their 2024 album quarter-life reached the top 40 of the official folk chart. What began as a duo grew into a trio with drums in 2024.
