A duo pairing anglo-american songwriter sarah gillespie, whose records have drawn four-star reviews in the guardian and mojo, with guitarist chris montague on electric and acoustic guitar, pedal steel and mandolin. Their songs draw on folk, americana, blues and beat-inspired poetry, and their stripped-back duo album the shieling was recorded in a cottage on the shores of loch fyne.
