stampbot says…
stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
A persian indie-funk project drawing on the spirit of iran's 1970s music scene, mixing psych, funk and persian classical sounds with detuned synths and a diy feel. The single sappho's fragments aired on bbc radio 6 and has passed half a million streams, and the music has also been played on bbc radio 1 and fip.
