The Sisters of Murphy

THE SISTERS OF MURPHY (known to their loyal fans as “The Smurphs”) are a UK-based goth rock tribute band formed in 1997 and based in Huddersfield. They are widely regarded as the leading tribute act dedicated to the music of the iconic SISTERS OF MERCY.

The band constantly tours the UK (including regular club night appearances like CARPE NOCTUM), delivering nearly two-hour live sets of classic gothic rock from perhaps the most definitive of goth band of them all.

Plus special guests TASER PUPPETS!

Formed in 2008, TASER PUPPETS are an alternative rock band with edgy noise, melody and contradictions. Vocal driven music with vigour tightly laced with dark humour. Mike Leigh (former drummer with The Fall) chose the Tasers’ ‘Beautiful Song for the Ripper’ taken from the EP Twisted Pop as one of his favourite tracks when being interviewed on Salford City Radio, saying “the Ripper is as good as any song written by anyone at any time!”
