WHIPLASH X HYPERSTITION: COLLAB DAY RAVE

If you've been to HYPERSTITION, you know how it feels to dance in a packed, sweaty cellar to thumping bass and euphoric beats. If you've been to WHIPLASH, you know how it feels to commune in the pit as queer hardcore bands tear the venue down.

We are so, so excited to bring you the long-awaited collab between these iconic Oxford nights, for one time only: WHIPLASH x HYPERSTITION DAY RAVE. An afternoon + evening of edgy, noisy electronic music, with DJ sets and live acts, to revel in community & catharsis as we sweat, scream and dance.

We encourage all attendees to wear a face mask, and test for COVID-19 ahead of time if you are feeling under the weather! Free masks and LFTs will be on offer at the door.

Please consider donating and/or buying a Pay-It-Forward ticket if you can afford it to support the artists and the promoter! This gives people the option to buy low-wage tickets without the promoter operating at loss.

ACCESSIBILITY At the Nest, the aim is to welcome everyone and can accommodate those who may have limited eyesight, hearing and mobility in a variety of different ways. If you have any specific requests, please reach out to YWMP ahead of time. The venue is step-free and seating can always be provided however the toilet is not accessible by wheelchair. The nearest accessible toilet is at Oxford Wine Cafe just across the street and will be open for the entirety of our event.

Please ensure you have a suitable stamp on your hand in line with the alcohol policy (under 18 or 18+). We only permit one drink purchased at a time per person..

Pink circle stickers will be available for audience members to wear to indicate they do not want to be photographed.

If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, we are here to help: If you feel threatened in any way please let staff know immediately (indicated by a pink Hi-vis vest): we will take measures to de-escalate and remove anyone who is causing harm.
