Oxford-based folk and americana singer-songwriter, a new england native who has called oxford home for around 25 years. Formerly one half of bbc radio 2-championed duo loud mountains with his brother kevin before striking out solo; his 2025 solo album was reviewed in nightshift, with songs praised for having grown richer over the years. He also fronts steady habits, an oxford alt-country outfit drawing on some of the city's most experienced musicians.

Scott gordon band play blues-infused acoustic roots music they call 'ulster americana', drawing on american blues, country and folk traditions with a distinctly northern irish perspective. Their debut album of the same name arrived in 2021, and they've since been a regular fixture on the oxford grassroots circuit, including a slot at oxford city festival's sunday social closing show at jericho.
