Oxford's flagship county youth orchestra, drawing around 250 young musicians aged 12–21 to perform demanding classical repertoire at prestigious venues including the sheldonian theatre. Part of oxfordshire county music service, based at the centre for music in headington, they deliver both grand public concerts and twice-yearly educational performances reaching thousands of oxfordshire schoolchildren.
