Weekly open mic comedy night
stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
It does its best, but it can get things wrong. If it has, tell us and we’ll fix it.
A weekly comedy open mic held every Thursday at the James Street Tavern on James Street, Oxford. Hosted by King Andy Gleeks, the night puts first-timers and tried-and-tested semi-pros on the same stage, welcoming stand-up, sketch, and musical comedy. Entry is free and the atmosphere is warm and encouraging for newcomers and regulars alike.

band · indie · shoegaze · oxford, uk
An oxford band who call their own sound indie-gaze: indie songwriting played under a shoegaze haze. There is very little of them recorded so far, so small rooms on the cowley road circuit are where to catch them.
