Nighttime + El Winstanley + Codiad Y Môr

Nighttime + El Winstanley + Codiad Y Môr at the library

time 6.00pm
182 Cowley Rd, Oxford

Nighttime come to Oxford (from LA!) for the first time - they are touring their wonderful new record ‘Looking Glass’ and play The Library on Sun 9th August alongside El Winstanley and Codiad Y Môr for a night of sweet, interesting and beautiful song!

Nighttime’s last record ‘Keeper is the Heart’ was one of our favourite records of recent years and we’ve luckily been helping them with their forthcoming UK dates and are excited to see Eva Louise Goodman’s songs in the flesh with her trio of troubadours - expect a mesmerising, cosmic folk explosion! Eva’s voice and and the music she’s created is quite something!

El Winstanley is back in town with her warm, sparkling bilingual harmonies and inventively layered multi-instrumental tunes - often using bass guitar, melodica, omnichord and more to create a unique musical world!

Our good friend Codiad Y Môr brings his lo-fi solo instrumental guitar songs to the basement to open up this intriguing evening! We loved his first show back in April and we’re excited for more of his stark folk leanings!

An earlyish show with doors at 6pm and music 6:30-9pm!

band · acoustic · alt-country · alternative folk · americana · singer-songwriter · oxfordshire, uk

An oxfordshire singer-songwriter whose music sits in acoustic folk and americana territory, built around candid, personal storytelling. His 2018 single 'stories from the past' — produced at milkman studios — gives a good sense of the warm, heartfelt writing at the core of his work.
