Matt Edwards is a favourite of ours at the Haven Club, he is a highly talented guitarist and songwriter with a laid back easy going stage presence. Matt is a self taught multi-instrumentalist, inspired by a huge wealth of musical genres. He has been touring constantly since 2011 with his live band and solo shows. As well as being part of Alice Armstrong's band. This show is to celebrate his new album, we are looking forward to the new music. With the highly talented and most sought after bass player - Roger Inniss (Sherman Robertson/Hamilton Loomis/Sari Schorr/Rob Tognoni/Ian Siegal to name but a few!) who has just come off tour with Strictly and who is MD for Ruf Records' Blues Caravan tours. Roger's talent is endless. We are thrilled that he has joined Matt for this tour.

A self-taught songwriter, vocalist and guitarist from the south of england, matt edwards blends blues with soul, rock and funk. Touring consistently since 2011, he released his fourth studio album 'out in the wild' in 2024 and has a new ep 'are you free' due in summer 2025. Live credits include the 100 club, the great british rock & blues festival skegness, and the colne blues festival.
