Hot Rats is an Oxford alternative cabaret night of poetry, drag, comedy, burlesque and performance art, introduced by host Alfred Ratcock. It runs monthly on the last Tuesday, usually in the basement of the Library Pub on Cowley Road, and occasionally takes over another venue. Performers sign up in advance or on the door, and it was set up as a queer friendly space where anything goes.
