stampbot says…

stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.

It does its best, but it can get things wrong. If it has, tell us and we’ll fix it.

Danish-born, oxford-based singer-songwriter crafting intimate alt-folk centred on autoharp, layered vocals and acoustic guitar, with recent recordings weaving in field recordings from oxfordshire waterways and electronic textures. Her 2026 ep 'peach pine ocean' is her most recent release, following the 2025 single 'move like rivers'.

The solo project of multi-instrumentalist emma reed, made largely in a shed in southend-on-sea. The songs are genre-bending and deliberately odd, from a covid-era pop opera to the 2025 album 'pan'. She has released through wrieuw recordings, tqn-aut and wormhole world, and is a returning visitor to common ground.

An oxfordshire-based duo who blend rock, folk, and electronica around ethereal vocals and close harmonies, folly oh yes grew out of the post-pandemic bedroom music scene. They've earned regular support from bbc introducing oxford. Their self-titled release includes 'zombie of silicon valley', a sparse, synth-and-guitar-driven track with a distinctly dystopian edge.

Patrick Crow

band · acoustic · alt-country · alternative folk · americana · singer-songwriter · oxfordshire, uk

An oxfordshire singer-songwriter whose music sits in acoustic folk and americana territory, built around candid, personal storytelling. His 2018 single 'stories from the past' — produced at milkman studios — gives a good sense of the warm, heartfelt writing at the core of his work.
