Crumb & Bass: Coffee Rave at a bakery!

Caffeine fuelled day party at Proof Social Bakehouse

Crumb & Bass: Coffee Rave at a bakery! at proof social bakehouse

We couldn't be more excited to host our first coffee rave at our bakery in Kennington! This is a caffeine fuelled day party for anyone and everyone who loves coffee, and loves to party. There's dance, pastries, coffees, and DJs to make it a bank holiday morning to remember! Party on a monday morning as we get the speakers pumping from 10am-2pm, with freshly baked pastries and brewed coffees available from our cafe.

Coffee raves are on the up and up! A coffee rave is a daytime dance party that replaces alcohol with specialty coffee and high-energy music. Taking place in cafes or warehouses, they typically run in the early morning so attendees can socialize, dance, and get a caffeine boost before getting on with the rest of the day. Coffee Raves across the UK have been featured on BBC News, and in the Guardian and the Times!

On the decks will be sets from Rosie Raves UK and DJ Eileen Da Hotty

DJ Eileen Da Hotty Eileen is a dynamic DJ renowned for her house music sets, where she infuses smooth grooves with infectious beats. A lover of vocal, soulful, piano house, and a deep bass line! She hosts a monthly radio show at Windrush Radio called “DaHottie House Vibes” and is a resident DJ with It’s So…Oxford, a daytime party for over 40s

Rosie Raves UK Rosie delivers high-energy DNB and jungle, infused with influences from UK G, soul and R&B. Expect rolling basslines, uplifting vocals and dancefloor mixes from the likes of Lens, Kritikal, Brookes Brothers, Dillinja, 4am Kru and Harriet Jaxxon. A passionate advocate for community, inclusivity and female representation in electronic music, Rosie brings people together through the positive energy of rave.

about this night
stampbot says…

stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.

It does its best, but it can get things wrong. If it has, tell us and we’ll fix it.

Crumb & Bass is a coffee rave: a caffeine-fuelled daytime party with live DJs held inside Proof Social Bakehouse, the working bakery and cafe in Kennington on the southern edge of Oxford. The first one, on 31 August 2026, put RSIE RVES and Eileen DaHottie on the decks. Expect a dancefloor in a bakery in daylight hours rather than a late night club, with coffee and pastries in place of a bar. Whether it settles into a regular slot is not confirmed yet.

not established: the evidence describes the 31 august 2026 edition as the first coffee rave, so treat it as a new night rather than a confirmed regular
