We are thrilled to be hosting Belgian indie twee slackers Capsuna for the Oxford Leg of their UK tour!
Capsuna is an indie twee slacker band from Brussels, with a 90s/berry slushie flavour. With members from the USA, Belgium, Greece, and the UK, they share a love for indie bands from the 80s onward, particularly those on labels like Creation, K, Sarah, Flying Nun, Teen Beat, and Scat. Their 2024 debut album, followed by two EPs, saw them performing across the UK, Brussels, and deep Wallonia that year.
Spaceman and the spaceband are going to beam slacker rock music into your head using experimental technology. They are brand new. They are good to fans of Pavement, Electrelane, and The Wedding Present. They write songs containing snaking riffs, wiry drums, evil melodies, jangly bits. Reviews include “perky indie pop with psychedelic edges” (Nightshift Mag) and “non-stop charisma, humour, and watertight singalong weirdo anthems” (OMS)
