stampbot says…
stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
A seven-piece paris band who weld afrobeat horns and rare-groove basslines onto hip hop, fronted by a chicago-born rapper. Formed in 2019 out of the french afro and groove scene, with a live album cut at la peche in montreuil. Uk dates are rare, so a cowley social club booking is a genuine catch.
