A nebraska-born folk-pop and indie pop singer-songwriter now based in valencia, spain, with a quietly acclaimed career spanning more than a dozen albums since his 1998 debut. His song 'directions' appeared on the vanilla sky soundtrack, and in 2014 he won a spanish goya award for best original song. His 2022 album going places captures a looser, road-ready sound developed with his spanish band.
