Derek Nash All-Stars Quartet
about the band
stampbot says…
stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
Led by british jazz award-winning saxophonist derek nash, a jools holland rhythm & blues orchestra regular who also earned a gold disc producing jamie cullum's pointless nostalgic. He fronts six bands; this oxford date is his sax appeal quartet, billed for the spin jazz night. Expect hard-swinging, funk-leaning saxophone-led jazz.
