A manchester-based 12-piece powerhouse combining afrobeat, ethio-jazz and british protest song, agbeko opened womex 24 as ambassadors of their hometown and earned bbc radio 6 play (craig charles funk & soul show, tom robinson) with their 2023 album 'there must be another way'. The oxford show falls on their uk single launch tour for 'know how' (out 21 july), ahead of new album 'when the people say' arriving october 2026.
