Denzil de Cristo: Punexplained Phenomena (Work in Progress)

Denzil de Cristo has an over-active imagination and an excessive love of puns. Punfortunately, he has decided to share both with the public.

In this brand-new Work in Progress, Denzil investigates space travel, ancient aliens, drug-dealing fish and ideas that seemed perfectly reasonable inside his head.

Expect whimsical stories, nerdy one-liners, daft conspiracy theories and talking animals. There may also be a thoroughly inappropriate Mary Poppins parody.

Denzil’s previous show: Artificially Intelligent Procrastinating Pundit received a 4-star Review at Edinburgh Fringe.
“Harry Hill–style surrealism meets George Formby–era wordplay… ricochets from the sublime to the ridiculous” ⭐⭐⭐⭐ One4Review

“Genuine and funny… Denzil’s love of comedy and passion to make people laugh truly shines through.” Audience review, Edinburgh Fringe 2025.

As seen on The X Factor. Briefly.
