Dislocation Dance

Dislocation Dance + The Last Caboose return to The Kamera following their packed out Chorlton Arts Festival gig in the Summer. Dislocation Dance, a band with a strong Manchester pedigree stretching back to the 1980s, perform their unique brand of soulful jazzy indie pop. Having made their name with releases on legendary labels New Hormones and Rough Trade, the band will be playing songs from their wide and varied back catalogue. The Last Caboose, whose songs touch on Americana, Folk, Country and classic pop combine a feisty acoustic delivery with sublime vocal harmonies. Debut release "Shadow Of The Wind Ep" is currently available on Half Edge Records. Completing the line up will be another band with strong Manchester roots, alt folksters The Blazing Snowmen delivering a set of story filled songs. The gig coincides with the release of a new book of Song Lyrics by the band.
