stampbot says…

stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.

It does its best, but it can get things wrong. If it has, and we’ll fix it.

Scottish folk singer songwriter and author from kingsbarns in fife, releasing music since 2001 alone, with his band the athletes and in the trio yorkston/thorne/khan. An early member of the fence collective, he mixes his own songs with traditional material, and his solo career began after john peel played one of his demos.
