Steve Dagleish does Dylan

The quintessential folk singer-songwriter, Steve Dagleish’s style follows a long line of great British folk artists, from Roy Harper to John Martyn, Nick Drake, and beyond. After a sold-out, full-band ‘Dylan Goes Electric’ show last November, Steve returns to the Green Note for a stripped-back, solo tribute to his favourite songwriter. This isn’t an attempt at a carbon copy. It’s about the vibe and verve of that defiant moment Dylan plugged in his guitar and changed music forever. Raw vocals. Razor-sharp storytelling. .

Expect the anthems and the deep cuts, and above all the songs that made Dylan both a prophet and a ‘Judas’ - timeless songs delivered with honesty and fire.

"The essential ‘man with guitar’ album will never go out of style, it’s just that some do it so much better than others. To hear how it should be done, listen to Steve Dagleish." Tim Carroll FolkWords
