plus special guests STELLAR KNIGHTS

Progressive metal band HeKz operate outside of convention. The quartet blend heavy metal weight with classical composition, creating music that is technical, emotional and deliberately uncompromising.
With a string of critically acclaimed releases under their belt, the latest album, "Qisma" captures HeKz at their most fearless and inventive.
The band will be performing a special setlist focussing on "Qisma" at The Bedford, Balham on Wednesday 25th November 2026. This one-off event promises to be an immersive experience, not to be missed by those who like their prog with a harder edge.
"'Qisma' is an allegory for the moment that we're living through," reflects vocalist Matt Young. "It's a fully fledged concept album, like a rock opera but told with a single voice from a single perspective, for the most part. We're really excited about presenting the album live in this way, and a beautiful and captivating venue like The Bedford is the perfect place to make such an ambitious undertaking."
STELLAR KNIGHTS is a London-based rock duo formed during the pandemic by vocalist Stella and guitarist Duncan. They take inspiration from gothic rock, metal, and progressive music, blending heavy riffs with dark melodies and cinematic atmospheres. Intense and emotional, their music is built on both personal stories and the wider influence of literature, film, and pop culture.
“Stellar Knights are carving out a space of their own in the modern rock scene, fusing dark atmosphere with undeniable energy.” — Nziria Magazine “A band with vision and bite, Stellar Knights prove that gothic rock can still sound fresh and vital.” — RockCharts News “Stellar Knights bring a cinematic edge to heavy music, setting themselves apart with a sound that’s both powerful and personal.” — SoundKharma
