about the band
stampbot says…
stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
One of the defining pop bands of the 1980s, fronted by boy george, mixing pop, soul, reggae and new wave. They have sold more than 100 million records worldwide and remain a big live draw four decades on.
