stampbot says…
stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
English singer, songwriter and political activist whose music blends folk, punk rock and protest song, with lyrics that move between politics and romance. His debut, life's a riot with spy vs spy, came out in 1983 and got an early push from john peel on bbc radio. His activism has long centred on social change and left wing causes.
