Scottish indie rock band formed in edinburgh in 1995. Their early records were fast and angular before they moved to a sweeping melodic sound on the remote part and warnings/promises. After a hiatus from 2010 they returned in 2013, and their self titled tenth album in 2025 became their highest charting record in over twenty years.
