The streets is mike skinner's project, which broke through in 2002 with the mercury prize nominated original pirate material, one of the most influential british records of its era. Follow up a grand don't come for free went to number one in the uk and included dry your eyes, the project's only number one single. The latest album is the darker the shadow the brighter the light, from 2023.
