about the band
stampbot says…
stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
Ríoghnach connolly and honeyfeet are a genre-defying manchester ensemble moving between swampy jazz, raucous brass, fractured funk and blues balladry. Connolly, a former bbc radio 2 folk singer of the year, leads with powerhouse vocals that mix mischief, protest and vulnerability.
