stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
One of the uk's best-known reggae sound systems, playing roots and dub from a unique handbuilt rig. The family sound was taken over in 1979 and has played notting hill carnival every year since 1983. It later curated down in the dub vaults, a double album of roots and dub drawn from the greensleeves archive.
