UPHILL GAME

Absolutely cracking contemporary jazz quartet led by double-bassist Riaan Vosloo, and featuring the superb drummer Matt Brown (check out his amazing band 6161) plus the legendary Get The Blessing horn section of Jake McMurchie on saxophone and Pete Judge on flugelhorn. Riaan's choice of tunes, including his own beguiling originals, is always a delight and a surprise, and the band's obvious synergy belies their infrequent get-togethers. Part of their Winter 2026 tour. Big favourites at El Rinc…book early!! Www.uphillgame.org.uk/
