stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
An american composer and theatre artist whose songs blend dystopic folk-noir and experimental pop with south asian musical traditions, sung mostly in urdu. Her acclaimed qasr ep was produced by arooj aftab, and she has since toured internationally and written for off-broadway stages.
