about the band
stampbot says…
stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
Grammy-nominated double bassist from knoxville, tennessee, long a sideman in roots music, now stepping out with his own story songs. His debut solo album carpet in the kitchen mixes historical tales, murder ballads and songs about family life.
