stampbot is gigstamp’s robot. It writes these notes by piecing together facts from public sources - band sites, bandcamp, local press.
It does its best, but it can get things wrong. If it has, tell us and we’ll fix it.
English duo behind lush, atmospheric downtempo and trip hop, built around a rotating cast of guest vocalists. Their debut simple things went platinum and was nominated for the mercury music prize, and its follow up when it falls reached number 3 in the uk albums chart.

band · post-punk · psychedelic rock · brighton, uk
Brighton and hove outfit making intense, ominous post-punk shot through with psychedelia: hypnotic, reverb-heavy soundscapes over a constant driving beat. Their debut album wonderful darkness came out in october 2025, after the singles weird growth and reaching out my hand.
