A brighton six-piece playing folk-inflected indie rock, with violin, clarinet and harmonium sitting alongside the usual guitars and drums. They self-release on bandcamp, where the 2023 album beach threads field recordings from brighton beach through six tracks written in one isolated week.

Already tipped by brighton and hove news as one of the city's most intriguing new acts, and backed by local tastemakers platform b. The brighton quartet build slow, tense songs from washes of accordion, glockenspiel and muted drums, with folk melodies pulled towards post-rock and post-punk. An unreleased track, 'sharks', turns darker still, with tribal-leaning drums under rising vocals.
