A boston trio whose 2015 track 'alien blues' went viral on tiktok years after release and turned them into a festival-circuit draw. Live they are wiry and abrupt: fuzzed-out surf and math-rock guitar figures, stop-start rhythms and post-punk edge packed into very short songs. Album 'surgery and pleasure' arrived on loma vista, with a deluxe edition following in march 2026, and they head to chalk co-headlining with yot club.

The solo project of ryan kaiser, whose single 'ykwim?' went platinum in the us and silver in the uk after taking off online. The sound is hazy bedroom pop: woozy surf guitar, soft synths and half-buried vocals, built around nostalgia and the drift from small town to city. Third album 'simpleton' landed in april 2026 and brings him to chalk on a co-headline bill with vundabar.
